New {Hope}

I had an amazing oppurtunity to go worship in Honolulu, Hawaii for my 20th birthday on the 14th of November! I just wanted to tell you that if you ever have a chance to be in Honolulu on a Sunday and need a good church to go worship at New Hope Diamond Head is an awesome one!

The Pursuit of God A.W. Tozer

So, I am reading this book, I am only one chapter into it. Page 20 to be exact, but I have to tell you, I feel SO inlightened already! I love it! On page 19 it says this:

"Yet underneath all this thinking lay the broad foundation of New Testament truth, for he explains that by "Himself" he means "God that made thee, and bought thee, and that graciously called thee to thy degree." And He is all for simplicity: If we would have religion "lapped and folden in one word, for that though shouldst have better hold thereupon, take thee but a little word of one syllable: for so it is better than of two, for even the shorter it is the better it accordeth with the work of the Spirit.

And such a word is this word GOD or this word LOVE."

Isn't that just amazing?!

I read that, and literally just stopped for a minute to soke it all in!

Two AMAZING words which are both just ONE syllable!

It cannot get any more simple than that! I love it! And, I love this book!

I would recommend it to anyone who is pursuing God!

Matthew 17:20
